Warehouse Associate @ TGIN - Chicago, IL
Thank God It’s Natural, a manufacturer of textured hair care products, is looking for someone for a Warehouse Associate in our Shipping Department. Our Shipping Team is responsible for shipping out orders to our major retailers like Target, Walmart, and Ulta.
The ideal candidate should have:
3+ years of prior warehouse experience
2+ years of picking/packing experience
Experience operating a pallet jack and pallet lift
Strong attention to detail
Basic math skills
Proficiency reading, writing and speaking English
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Stamina to stand for long periods of time
Communicating with coworkers to provide and receive direction
Clean criminal background check and drug test
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Receiving and checking of incoming orders
Order picking, packing and processing (e.g. wrapping pallets)
Verify accuracy of shipments via visual check of quantities and identification of products
Perform inventory cycle counts
Check inventory levels of bulk products and replenish as needed
Maintain a clean warehouse
Maintain a safe working environment
Maintain warehouse equipment
Assist with special projects as needed
Order picking is estimated to be 75% of the job, other warehouse duties to be 25%
Load and Unload trucks
Perform other duties as assigned
Our office is located at Fulton and Damen in Chicago 60612.
Working Hours:
9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
Hourly Rate:
$16.00
