Shipping and Receiving Assistant - Chicago, IL
Paper tube manufacturer located at Hubbard and Leavitt is in need of a Shipping and Receiving Assistant.

6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Hourly Rate:
$13.50 (Overtime is available.)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Pick/Pack/Ship/Receiving/Put-away
- Be able to accurately move inventory from one place to another (Forklift/pallet jack)
- Must be able to take direction from Supervisor and be able to complete multiple and varied duties within warehouse and complete each task in a timely manner
- Be able to properly use the banding machine, label printer, pick tickets
- Reading customer orders, picking order, packing orders, and shipping orders.
- Assisting in counting of physical inventory, cycle counts, using tape measure to gain dimensions of inventory.
- Will be assigned facilities maintenance duties (mopping, sweeping, breaking down boxes, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Stand up and/or sit down fork lift experience is a MUST
- Familiar with both LTL and FTL Bill of Ladings and UPS system
- Assist in storage and organization of inventory and supplies
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
