ABA Therapist for Therapeutic Preschool Program- CST Academy

Are you looking to make a difference in a family’s life? We’re currently searching for behavior therapists who are eager, outgoing, and passionate about making a difference in the autism community. Our goal is to provide high quality service to children with ASD and help them reach their full potential through behavior therapy. With this position, you will be working with children in the program's on-site therapeutic preschool-style program, CST Academy. Therapists will also work closely in-home and in clinic with families implementing programs established by a BCBA.

Management Training Program (Entry Level Management Track)- Consolidated Electrical Distributors

Management Trainee--Consolidated Electrical Distributors (non-exempt)

For those who are energetic self-starters, the CED MANAGEMENT TRAINING PROGRAM is a multi--phase, 2-3 year training program designed to prepare candidates to manage their own business--a Profit Center location.

Throughout the training program, candidates are exposed to all aspects of the electrical distribution field. This challenging program requires a strong commitment from each participant and encompasses, but is not limited to, Electrical Distribution Fundamentals, Warehouse Operations, Supplier Product Seminars, Counter Sales, Inventory Control, Sales & Interpersonal Skills, Purchasing, Corporate Administrative Exposure, Customer Relations, and Quality Assurance. Each trainee’s development is a combination of mentoring via on-the-job, classroom, and home-study training.

We are looking for people who aren't afraid of a fast-paced and sales-oriented environment and have a desire to grow their own business.

Individuals should be self-motivated, sales oriented, geographically flexible, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.

Infant Teacher- Bright Start Learning Center

This is a full-time position and ideal candidates would be able to work 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Teachers are responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, creative and developmentally appropriate environment and experience for children. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to interactions with children, communication and partnership with parents, assessment of the development of children and maintenance of the learning environment. 

Ideal candidates shall have a minimum of 30 college credit hours with six credit hours of Early Childhood Education or CDA completion. An Associate or Bachelor degree is preferred. This is a full-time position with competitive salary. Training for the position would begin at the end of July.

Substance Abuse Counselor- Southside Center of Hope

Job Summary: Responsible for providing direct care to women in recovery through counseling, case management and integrated dual-diagnostic treatment in accordance with the management policies and procedures, state and federal rules and regulations.


Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Addiction Studies, Social Work, Clinical Psychology or Community Counseling and Certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor from the Illinois Alcoholism and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association (IODAPCA); LPC, LSW or LSCW preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of counseling experience in substance abuse and CODP Co-Occurring Substance Use and Mental Health Disorder certified formerly known as MISA (mental health).
  • CPR Certification or must be able to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • No history of child abuse or neglect.
  • Ability to synthesize and summarize information and make judgments regarding member care.
  • Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in order to provide information to residents, staff and external service providers.
  • Computer skills required; knowledge of database functions and maintenance necessary.
  • Maintenance of a valid Illinois driver’s license with no suspensions in effect in the previous three (3) years prior to hire. 
  • Flexible to adapt to schedules and workload to the needs and demands of the program and attend meetings or trainings held outside of work hours.
