Full Time Baker- ICNC

As a Baker, you will be responsible for:
  • Following recipes
  • Proper usage of baking equipment
    • Scale/Measurers
    • Mixer
    • Convection oven
  • Scale up or down recipes
  • Inventory of baked goods and supplies
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen
  • Ensure quality of all baked goods
  • Assume management responsibilities
 
Requirements you will need:
  • 2+ years of experience in high-volume bakery
  • 2+ years of experience in scratch baking
  • Open to alternative baking methods
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Positive attitude
  • Hardworking
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Leadership experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Be able to lift 40+ pounds
  • Chicago Food Sanitation License
  • Bilingual preferred

Cake Decorator/Baker - Chicago, IL

 Expanding Award winning Artisan Baking Facility located in the near West Side (Ashland and Lake Streets) is in need of a full-time cake decorator/baker. 

  • Passionate about design and detail 
  • Experienced in: high end wedding and all occasion cake decorating, baking, 
  • One or more years of experience is required 
  • $15 -$22 an hour based upon experience. 
  • Commercial kitchen experience a plus. 
  • Hours would be from 8:30AM-5:00PM. 
  • Looking for the cake decorator/baker to start work ASAP.
