Project Manager Intern- Remote- Twist Biosciences

 Twist Biosciences is looking for a passionate and dynamic Project Management Intern who is ready to apply their academic and practical knowledge of software development and project management. 

As a member of the Software Engineering Program Management Team, you will work alongside the PMs and engineering teams to track the progress of key projects, communicate project updates, and own project dashboards. You will also play a vital role in identifying and implementing process improvements. This is a great opportunity for current college students to gain experience in Project Management.

What you'll be doing

  • Understand business requirements, objectives, scope and deliverables
  • Drive project management activities, including scoping, managing timelines, and reporting project updates
  • Provide support on gathering and communicating weekly org-wide project and program updates
  • Aid in launching and driving process improvement initiatives
  • Supporting project activities throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering program with a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Demonstrable analytical, technical and problem-solving, applying concepts to complex scenarios
  • Capable communicator, with experience in and an aptitude for visualizing and reporting project information
  • Detail oriented with a willingness to work with teams, as well as independently
  • Ideally experience with JIRA, Trello, or other project management services
