Job Summary:
Functions as an expert in the
field of Respiratory as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and performs duties
that are consistent with the Hospital mission and scope of care.

Participates in multidisciplinary patient care
planning
·
Provides active input in the management of
ventilator/patient dis synchrony
·
Performs End tidal CO2 Studies with Blood gas
comparisons
·
Performs therapeutic procedures of :
various secretion clearance modalities, High Flow nasal cannula therapy ,
speaking valve evaluations
· Administration of, but not limited to, ventilator set up and transports, trach care assistance, noninvasive set up and monitoring, responding to code blue situations, and many other critical thinking engagements.
What we need from you:
- Graduate of an AMA
approved program of respiratory care required.
- Experience with a variety
of mechanical ventilators required.
- Illinois RT license
required.
- CRT or RRT required.
- CPR is required.
- Previous pediatric experience preferred.
