Rotating shifts required. Position is for St. Anthony's Hospital
Responsible for operating a telephone attendant system to handle
incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls, as well as long-range pagers and
overhead paging for the hospital. Performs functions and system administrative
tasks on various automated systems. Responds to alarms for and acts as a key
member of the team for various emergency/disaster situations daily.
Requirements
- Ability to
demonstrate written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Basic
Computer knowledge (Microsoft Word/Excel)
- Excellent
communication and customer service skills
- Ability to
handle high volumes of incoming calls
- Professional
and courteous telephone etiquette
- Previous
experience as operator preferred
- Ability to
type 30 wpm preferred
