Under the direct supervision of the Director of Strategic Marketing for radio, help to facilitate the department’s efforts to expand the reach of Moody Radio through the marketing and promotion of Moody Radio programming and services to owned and operated and stations including Cleveland, Grand Rapids, Indiana, Quad Cities, Chattanooga, Nashville, Florida, South Florida and Moody Radio Network.
Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. - Assist and facilitate from concept to recap ongoing marketing plans with key stakeholders that coincide with regional listener facing marketing campaigns.
- Oversee and mentor a team from recruitment to final performance evaluation of a promotion assistant, seasonal intern and Practical Christian Ministry staff.
- Act as point person for church engagement initiatives serving stations with materials to further develop relationships and fulfill needs of local congregations.
- Meet with Director of Strategic Marketing, Station Managers and Digital Managers on a frequent basis to discuss strategy that fit into the larger plan of leveraging Moody Radio.
- Participate in weekly devotions and monthly Station Manager calls, and key service partners to share strategy and plans.
- Travel to local markets to support initiatives and events as needed.
- Participate and lead weekly devotions, staff meetings, and local events with a national and local presence and other gatherings as needed.
- Plan, attend and participate in the National Religious Broadcasters Convention, Founder’s Week, Gospel Coalition and other major Moody Radio events.
- Work with ministry partners to convert Moody Radio brand materials to fit brand standards.
- Assist in the development, implementation and fulfillment of on air, online and on-site contesting. This includes copywriting, preparation of contest rules, waivers, and release forms.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 of demonstrable experience marketing projects and campaigns and/or overseeing websites and other digital communication platforms in radio, media or parallel field.
- Creative thinker who can generate innovative ideas and solutions and partner effectively with marketing and other creative teams.
- Good operational and process orientation; strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; experience in dealing with multiple and diverse internal stakeholders, and interacting with business and technology partners. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, across all organizational levels.
- Authorized to work in the US legally without sponsorship
