A Successful Candidate Will Meet the Following Requirements:
• Be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Hold a valid State of Illinois Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or a valid State of Illinois CDL permit with the following three endorsements: knowledge, passenger and air brakes
• Have a safe driving record and be customer service-oriented
• CTA is a 24- hours, seven (7) days a week operation. Candidate must be willing and available to work all days and hours of the week as assigned (including nights, weekends and holidays and in all weather conditions)
• Submit to and pass drug and alcohol testing as mandated by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA)
