Part Time Marketing Assistant- Moody Bible Institute

The Marketing Assistant is to partner the radio marketing department in any and all projects including but not limited to: marketing campaign management, special events and broadcasts. This part-time position is for 20 hours per week. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. Assist in the development of B2B and B2C marketing campaigns Inventory and management of campaign materials Handle customer service and administrative duties including but not limited to listener correspondence, meetings, campaign reporting and record updating Facilitate prize coordination, copy writing and fulfillment Mentor intern and volunteer staff Participate in weekly team meetings Perform related and special duties as assigned Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED Must possess current Driver’s license and demonstrated good driving record- per Secretary of State verification- for operation of Moody Radio vehicle Willing to fully support the Moody Radio Vehicle Operating Agreement Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Can work well under stress Can confidently work with Microsoft Office programs Flexible schedule with the ability to work early mornings, late nights and weekend Able to work in the US legally without sponsorship Preferred Requirements Preferred background in broadcast journalism, journalism, or marketing-related field Work Environment/Conditions Moody Bible Institute is a Christian-based Higher Education and Media Ministry. This job operates partly in a professional office environment and partly off-site at various promotional events.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.) and promotional marketing equipment (tents, banners, sound equipment, etc.) While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear in various noise environments. The employee very frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle or feel; stoop or kneel; and reach with hands and arms. Substantial physical movement is required and employee must be able to lift and transport equipment, including heavy items up to 50lbs. The employee is occasionally required to stand and sit. Employee must project an appropriate company image with respect to dress and demeanor and must be willing to work in a smoke-free environment. This is a part-time position with varied hours of approximately 20 hours per week. These hours include day, evening, weekends and possible holidays. No travel is expected for this position.
