PT Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach- Moody Bible Institute

Spiritual formation and leadership of Coaches and players. Assist the head coach with all phases of the program including organizing and supervising all practices and games. Practice planning Mentorship for players Game video and opponent evaluation Recruiting Motivational leadership In conjunction with the Head Coach prepare individualized summer workout plans Knows NCCAA eligibility requirements Will step in as Head Coach is unable to attend or participate Team communication/phone, texts, and emails Becomes trained in First Aid, CPR, and AED and participate in an annual Blood Borne Pathogens training session Stay current on all Title IX policies and regulations Works with training and medical health services Responsible for conduct of athletes on all trips Transportation/mini bus, vans, cars Moody approved driver of Institute vehicles Attend Team and Moody Sport Functions Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree 2 years of college/high school head coaching Authorized to work in the US legally, without sponsorship Preferred Requirements Master’s Degree 5 years of college/high school head coaching Work Environment/Conditions Moody Bible Institute is a Christian-based Higher Education and Media Ministry. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This is a part-time professional position: Monday through Friday, some occasional weekend and evening hours are possible as the academic calendar or program require.
