Part Time Social Media Specialist- Moody Bible Institute

Under direct supervision of the Station Manager, the Social Media Specialist Moody Radio (MR) supports Moody Radio Grand Rapids & Perry & Shawna Mornings, delivers messages and strategies for awareness & listener engagement, and administers MR Grand Rapids & Perry & Shawna social accounts

Essential Functions

  • Operates in all functions as a representative of MR Grand Rapids and Perry & Shawna mornings to help others take their next step in their relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Produce a variety of social content for Moody Radio Grand Rapids and Perry & Shawna Mornings
  • Attributes strategies for follower growth on all major social media profiles and maintains a consistent system of measurement for the evaluation of program success, optimizing for greater conversations, reach and engagement. 
  • Execute paid media campaigns on social media sites to increase targeted audience reach.
  • Expand brand awareness of MR Grand Rapids and Perry & Shawna Mornings
  • Edits and posts video content for MR Grand Rapids & Perry & Shawna Mornings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Some College Experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to be organized 
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the US legally without sponsorship

Preferred Requirements

  • Ability to be organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Coordination and Project Management
  • Understanding the Education market and market research processes

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. This position also routinely uses software including Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and HTML/text editors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This is a part-time position. No travel is expected for this position.
