Work as a member of a Head Start team to partner with families to promote children’s healthy development and school readiness. Responsibilities include advocating for Head Start families whose children are presently enrolled in the center-based program. The Family Service Worker will also assist with the development of goal plans for participating families to promote self-sufficiency and work with families to achieve goal success. Additional responsibilities include recruiting and enrolling children into the program.
Qualifications:
• Associates degree or credential in sociology, social work, human services or related field (Minimum)
• Computer skills required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
• Knowledge of Head Start preferred.
